I’m now offering a plastic bollard in the Melbourne area. I haven’t supplied these plastic type bollards before because I thought they weren’t strong enough.
But I was wrong.
I’ve found a supplier in country Victoria who makes a ripper of a plastic bollard. He actually uses recycled plastic, plastic bags, bottles and packing material. He then adds some wood chips to his mixture, making it the strongest plastic bollard you’ll find.
And boy was I impressed with this bollard. It almost looks like a wooden bollard but it’s as strong as steel. And because it’s made from an hardened plastic material, you can do all sorts of good things with it. These include,
- Bury it in the ground
- Add eyelets to it (perfect for adding chains)
- Add reflective markers to them
And because they’re not wooden, they won’t rot and/or weaken. I’m so sure of these plastic bollards that I’m giving them my highest recommendation.
