The Bulldog: a collapsible bollard built tough
The Bulldog is my fold-down bollard, and I haven’t messed around with it. There’s no compromise on strength. The base plate is a whopping 8 mm thick, almost twice what you’ll find on most fold-down bollards. The upright has a 5 mm wall, way thicker than your common garden variety bollard.
Why collapsible?
A collapsible bollard is far easier to live with than a removable one. There’s nothing to lift out, carry around or store during the day. When you need to drive through, unlock it and fold it flat. When you’re done, stand it up and lock it, and it’s ready to protect again in seconds.

Installation

The Bulldog comes with a lifetime manufacturer’s guarantee. Once it’s bolted in, you shouldn’t have to think about it again.
