This wise butcher has now learned his lesson after staring at nasty bills of repairs and is considering his options for protection to prevent this from happening again in the future.
Bollards are the only efficient and effective way to stop a ram raider. Alarms and security cameras won’t stop a ram raid attack; they will only alert you or give you a nice video of some mean people taking what is rightfully yours. Usually, you cannot even identify the perpetrators in the footage, because they are driving stolen vehicles and have their faces covered with balaclavas or hoodies. Moreover, they manage to complete their deed quickly, so that they are in and out of your premises within seconds or minutes. By the time the police or security staff have arrived at the scene, the raiders are long gone. This leaves just you with less stock in your store or business and a slightly low sense of dignity and security.
