Hume City Council Removable Bollard
Built to suit Hume City Council Standard Drawing SLD-2.3A, this heavy duty removable bollard is designed for use across shared paths, parks, reserves, access tracks and other council areas where controlled vehicle access is required.
The bollard is manufactured from 125 × 125 × 4 mm galvanised square steel and finished in highly visible Safety Yellow powder coat, making it easy to spot during the day while the 60 mm reflectors on the front and rear improve visibility at night.
Each bollard fits neatly into a 140 × 140 mm cast-in ground sleeve. When access is required, the bollard can simply be unlocked and lifted out using the welded steel handles. Once removed, the single hinged checker plate flap folds down over the sleeve opening, leaving the area flat and helping reduce trip hazards.
The bollard is secured using a standard padlock through the steel locking eye, making it a simple and reliable solution for council staff, maintenance crews and authorised vehicles that may need occasional access.
Every bollard is made to order in our Melbourne workshop and supplied complete with the matching ground sleeve and hinged lid, ready for installation.
